I had a great time in Sofia, Bulgaria! Sofia hostels There is a lot to be seen, even though I spent one week there, it wasn't quite enough to explore every point of interest. My enjoyable trip started from Levitt Smart Hostel, where I found very kind and welcoming hosts, who provided me with lots of information about the city and the area around it. The hostel itself is situated in the very Central part of Sofia, right on the main pedestrian street - Vitosha Avenue. This location was so convenient for its great variety of trendy shops, restaurants, bars and street performances! I enjoyed my coffee, sitting in the cafe underneath the hostel, listening to the performance of nice street musicians, and enjoying the sight of beautiful Vitosha Mountain. My room had a great view towards the mountain and the street as well. I really liked the place because of its bright lovely colours, also the cleanliness made my stay very, very pleasant. I could see that the hosts were taking extra care for the hygiene, which was not something typical for the rest of the hostels I've been to. There was also something very special about this hostel - its founders had their own concept how to accommodate guests. They have implemented very modern system for access to the hostel, as well as Virtual Reception, which was absolutely new for me. It was designed to help travellers with lots of useful information and guidelines for all their queries. There were also free coffee and tea available in the kitchen, as well as kitchen facilities which were very well maintained. The security seemed to be of very high level, and there were lockers for each dormitory bed. As a matter of fact the dormitory beds were extra wide and there were curtains on each side of the bed, thus providing a little bit more privacy in the shared rooms. Overall, my experience in Levitt Hostel was surprisingly very nice and gave me lots of positive energy! I will be very happy to come back one day and would definitely recommend it to all of my soul mates! I am sure they will appreciate it :)
